Subjects Taught
Fourth Grade

I was born and raised in Onslow County and I am proud to be a Southwest High School graduate.  GO STALLIONS FOREVER!!! I started out by receiving my Associates in Arts Degree at Coastal Carolina Community College and then transferred to UNCW and went on to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I am currently seeking a Masters Degree in Counselor Education from East Carolina University.

I entered the Onslow County School System in 1999, serving in the role of Teacher Assistant in a Behaviorally and Emotionally Disturbed classroom. While I went on to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from UNC at Wilmington I was a substitute teacher in the Onslow County School System in grades Kindergarten through 8th. I am currently entering my thirteenth  year in fourth grade and anticipate learning as much from my students as they do me.

I was privileged to be born and raised in Onslow County by two parents that taught me the importance of family. In 1991, I met, and went on to marry the love of my life.  I have two beautiful children and I am currently "Meemaw" to a beautiful baby boy. My passions include: family, friends, children, learning, reading, and building genuine relationships. Things that bring me joy, outside of the previously mentioned, include: anything written by Picoult, Hannah, or Scottoline, children laughing. chocolate, visiting different camp grounds in North Carolina, nice people, traveling and Manatees!
